Community Ambassadors’ commitment to Hoboken’s Vision Zero imitative can vary depending on their skillset and audience. Examples of Community Ambassador roles include:

Distributing Vision Zero educational materials at a block party or street fair

Hosting a neighborhood meeting to discuss Vision Zero projects

Marshalling neighbors to advocate for a Vision Zero safety improvement

Collecting data to make the case for Vision Zero safety improvements on their block

Engaging with a Community of Concern about Vision Zero

Speaking the “language” of Vision Zero (e.g. saying “crash” not “accident”)
